FBS takes a different approach to employee benefits. For starters, we recognize that we can't be all things to all people, so we stick to the philosophy of specialization. Our sole focus is on benefit solutions for small and mid-size businesses in Ontario.
New Age Benefits
The benefits landscape is constantly evolving - shouldn't your employee benefit plan evolve as well? FBS gives you and your employees access to the latest benefit trends, innovations and technologies.
FBS takes pride in the fact that we have relationships with a variety of insurance carriers to find the best fit for our clients. Insurance carriers offer a variety of plan design options and funding models, which we can match to your organization's philosophy and goals.
Plan administrators really see the value in working with FBS from an educational standpoint. PA training sessions and ongoing PA support are offered to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood and corporate liabilities are reduced. Our PA Resource Centre has been created for plan administrators with useful links, tips and reminders.
Plan members also benefit from employee training sessions where we discuss things like benefit plan details, how to claim, coordination of benefits, benefits fraud, etc. Employees can visit our PM Resource Centre to get a better idea of how their plan works, where to claim, etc.
FBS also makes the commitment to continue our own professional development. As the benefits landscape continues to evolve, we commit to keeping you up-to-date on the latest industry trends, technologies, products & services.
Have you ever been surprised with a large rate increase at renewal and had no idea it was coming? You're not alone. FBS takes a different approach by constantly monitoring/managing your plan and keeping constant communication throughout your policy year. Drug plan management is essential with the increasing trend of high-cost prescription drugs on the Canadian market.
Price vs. Value
Can FBS save you 10-15% off your current rates? Sure, any insurance broker could. The key is to make sure we have a plan that sets up your organization for sustainable long-term success, which includes fair pricing.
Ask about our 'Price vs Value' tool to make sure your plan is priced fairly. Let's build a sustainable plan for long-term success.
As a plan administrator, you have quite a few responsibilities when managing a benefits plan and with that comes potential liabilities. We work closely with you to make sure you have the tools needed to streamline the process and reduce your corporate liabilities.
As the plan sponsor, you deserve to know what you are paying for. At FBS, we disclose our compensation structure with clients because we want to make sure they are confident getting the value from our services.

As a business owner, you can rest assured knowing that your employee's health, wealth and happiness are taken care of.
Attract & Retain
Business owners know how important it is to find the right employees to run a successful business. A benefits plan can be a great tool to help attract and retain the top level talent that you need.
Tax Effective Compensation
A benefits plan is a great way to compensate your employees in a tax effective manner. Next time you are thinking about offering employees a pay raise, consider a benefits plan as an alternate form of compensation.
Strengthen Your Business
Access to benefits means employees lose less time to extended illnesses or health concerns. This will increase your efficiency and drive a stronger business.
